Blue Commonwealth Strategies was founded in 2023 by Democratic strategist Jeff Person to provide campaigns with a true “one-stop shop” for operations, strategy, and fundraising.
After two decades working on campaigns across the country from presidential races to local elections, Jeff built BCS to solve a common problem: campaigns often struggle to connect strategy, fundraising, and execution under one cohesive plan.
BCS exists to change that.
We work closely with candidates and teams to build strong foundations, streamline operations, and execute disciplined, data-driven campaigns that maximize every resource.
Meet the Founder
Jeff Person
Jeff Person has worked in Democratic politics since 2003, beginning as a volunteer on the Dean for America campaign and going on to play roles in major races including Jim Webb’s Senate campaign and Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.
Over the years, Jeff has built experience across nearly every aspect of campaigning: field, fundraising, digital, and campaign management. His teams have knocked on tens of thousands of doors, increased voter turnout in competitive districts, and helped deliver wins in closely contested races.
Jeff also served as a delegate to the 2020 Democratic National Convention and is a member of the Human Services Advisory Council in Falls Church, Virginia.
He founded Blue Commonwealth Strategies to bring this full-spectrum experience to campaigns looking for serious, hands-on support.
